Last night at HOT 4 the Holidays, sparks flew. With a line up starring Busta Rhymes, Mariah Carey, Lil’ Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Lil’ Kim, Rick Ross, Fetty Wap, Puff Daddy, and more, it was inevitable. From Mariah Carey’s stellar runs at the end of her quick performance of “I Know What You Want” to the reunion of A Tribe Called Quest and Leaders of the New School, there was something for everyone. However, the showstopper came when Mary J. Blige and Lil’ Kim performed “I Can Love You” together for the first time, 18 years after the song’s release.
