James TW kicks down the door on “Naked”, the standout track from his debut EP First Impressions. Built on a foot-stomping bluesy beat and guitar/bass, his masterfully doubled vocals (a high and low) flow incredibly. His voice stretches across octaves, showing promise to reach into an upper register that compliments his booming baritone range quite well. He sounds wise beyond his mere 18 years. The hook is the real draw, with a catchy melody accompanied by the slick lyrics “You hesitated. You had a secret. My lips could taste it.” Boom. A star is born.
