Though originally created in celebration of Janet Jackson’s birthday, this playlist can be the soundtrack to any celebratory moment. I’ve compiled a playlist of Janet’s most fun, danceable, uplifting and memorable tracks sure to make you move and groove your way through whatever moment you’re celebrating.

The playlist spans from the very beginning of her recording career, with 1982’s “Young Love,” to her most recent single “Made For Now,” released in 2018. So, not only is this playlist the perfect backdrop to any celebration, but it also doubles as a lesson in Janet Jackson history to accompany our Janet Jackson: Then, Now, and All the In-Between series. Well, what are you waiting for? Celebrate the Queen with us!
